BMW Ultimate Driving Experience Wraps in New York in November
Final stop on the Ultimate Driving Experience tour takes place at Citi Field

Earlier this spring, BMW kicked off the latest entry in its Ultimate Driving Experience program. The 2018 BMW Ultimate Driving Experience will visit a total of five cities nationwide, offering new and experienced drivers the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of driving courses behind the wheel of the Ultimate Driving Machine®.

“The Ultimate Driving Experience is one of the most exhilarating, fun and informative events that we host,” says Trudy Hardy, vice president of Marketing, BMW of North America. “This year we are focusing on showcasing BMW’s innovations in electromobility — and prove that when it comes to electric and hybrid-electric vehicles, driving is believing.”

The Ultimate Driving Experience consists of five experiences, each aimed at improving necessary driving skills and allowing participants to experience the excitement of driving a BMW. The Autocross is a closed-course program that pairs drivers with a BMW Professional Driving Instructor for a lap in the all-new BMW X2 Sports Activity Vehicle® and the BMW 530e iPerformance plug-in hybrid. Street Drives put participants at the wheel of a number of different BMW vehicles for a 20-minute self-guided test drive. Drag Strip shows off the takeoff ability of b the BMW i3s.

Young drivers can take part in the Teen Driving School program, which acquaints participants with basic driving theory both through classroom experience and in driving either a BMW X3 or a BMW 330i. Teen Driving School is open to participants aged 15-20 with a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license.

Those seeking a more exhilarating experience can sign up for the M Car Control Clinic. For a fee of $750, participants will learn advanced driving theory from BMW Professional Driving Instructors. To ensure a more complete understanding of BMW M’s handling and performance capabilities, the course includes a day of driving at the wheel of either a BMW M3 or BMW M4.

The final Ultimate Driving Experience of the year will take place from November 9-15 at Citi Field in New York. For more information and to register for The BMW Ultimate Driving Experience, visit: ude.bmwusa.com or call 800-558-4BMW (4269).
