BMW has extended its sponsorship of TEFAF, otherwise known as The European Fine Art Fair. The celebration of modern and contemporary art and design is now held three times annually, including the flagship TEFAF Maastricht showcase and U.S.-based TEFAF New York Fall and TEFAF New York Spring shows.
For the 30th installment of TEFAF Maastricht this past March, BMW Group Netherlands provided a fleet of BMW 7 Series vehicles for the purposes of transporting guests of honor. The fleet consisted of longer-wheelbase models, including the Plug-in Hybrid 740Le, V8-powered 750Li and quad-turbo diesel 750Ld. To enhance the feeling of luxury even further, certain 7 Series Courtesy Cars boasted the Executive Lounge interior that features fully-adjustable rear seats with massage function.
TEFAF is in the top ten of the largest art fairs in the world and this edition will be as impressive as before, said Peter Haug, Marketing Director of BMW Group Netherlands. The TEFAF organization is as perfectionist as ever, which makes us want to connect the BMW brand to this prestigious event for another three years. Until 2019, the fairs guests of honor are assured to experience the same level of perfectionism in the cars and their drivers.
For this years TEFAF Maastricht event, BMW Group Netherlands also offered guests a visit to the Buitenplaats Kasteel Wijlre, which hosts the private collection belonging to Jo and Marlies Eijck.
