Last Call for 2018 Maine Windjammer Association Photo Contest

This photo of Schooner American Eagle took second place and received a Captain’s Choice Award in the 2017 Photo Contest.

We’re quickly approaching last call for the 2018 Maine Windjammer Association’s Photo Contest. All entries are due November 1, 2018. The grand prize winner will pick out the cruise of his or her choice for the 2019 season. It could be you! Submit photos by November 1, 2018.

Meet Sam & Cara, the dynamic duo on Victory Chimes
At the end of August, long time Victory Chimes Captains Kip Files and Paul DeGaeta passed the wheel to Sam Sikkema, one of the youngest windjammer captains in the country. Sam and his partner, Cara Lauzon, are looking forward to carrying on the traditions and tunes aboard this historic three-masted vessel. Click through to learn more about this harmonious duo.

It’s the month of the great pumpkin, so we’ve pulled out the cookbooks to offer you our best pumpkin recipes. From pancakes to pies and beyond, here are some ideas from our galley to yours, using everyone’s October favorite – pumpkin!
