We finish out the Maine Windjammer Association’s events schedule with a September to remember. Technically, the first event starts on August 31st and ends on September 1st as the Maine Windjammer Association fleet gathers in Camden for the Camden Windjammer Festival. Then, we round out the summer with the annual WoodenBoat Sail-In filled with music, mussels and maritime stories. Whether you come by land or by sea, we hope to see you at one of these final gatherings of the fleet.

Best of all, they pack a healthy punch, putting them at the top of the power-foods chart. We love serving blueberry desserts in August, so here are a few recipes from our galleys to your kitchens featuring these wild Maine blues!
