Cabin Fever Reliever, Part II

Escape to Maine to spend days sailing on a traditional vessel, enjoying scrumptious feasts and then snuggling into cozy cabins at night. Every Maine windjammer has its own personality, right down to the cabins. Here’s a sampling of some of the cabins available for bunking down after a great day’s sail on Maine’s coast.

Enjoy drifting off to sleep in this cozy cabin for two aboard the Schooner Heritage. All of the cabins have standing headroom, electric reading lights and hot and cold running water sinks. Two of the cabins include private heads.

Mary Day

Most of the cabins aboard the Mary Day feature a skylight and a window for fresh air at night. Each cabin has heat to ward off the chill on those occasionally cool evenings early and late in the season. Hang out by the woodstove in the main saloon before turning in for the evening.

Lewis R. French

Every cabin aboard the Lewis R. French features running fresh water, an opening window, electric reading lights, and comes furnished with linens, blankets, and towels.

Angelique cabins boast standing headroom, fresh water sinks, reading lights and a generous supply of fresh towels, sheets and blankets. In addition, there’s a deckhouse where guests can gather at night around the woodstove to talk, read and discuss the day.

Single and double cabins are available on every vessel in the Maine Windjammer Association fleet. For more specific details about cabins and accommodations, please visit our Fleet Page to find our individual members' websites.
