Associate Editor

SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The Associate Editor will assist in the development of all IMN editorial products and will help preserve IMN's editorial integrity. As a member of the IMN editorial team, he/she will ensure that IMN's editorial protocol and editorial guidelines are followed, and that material is being uploaded according to deadline.\

RESPONSIBILITIES/Essential Functions:

  • Manage flow of editorial with IMN content vendors and freelancers
  • Verify and edit representative samples of all editorial content
  • Work with OEM specialists and vendors to develop editorial calendars
  • Work with sales and Editorial Director to develop sample content for sales demos

Objectives of the Role:

The objectives of this role are to take over the day-to-day editorial responsibilities of managing copy flow to all IMN products. Currently, IMN distributes approximately 250 articles to a half-dozen editorial products, all of which requires some level of editorial oversight. At the moment, the Editorial Director manages this function, but as IMN moves into the social media arena, and begins to offer content as a solution to all of its business units, there is a requirement for an Associate Editor that can work with the Editorial Director to manage this flow of copy.

The first six months, the successful candidate will spend learning about the editorial products that IMN produces, understanding the editorial calendars and deadlines, and working with the relevant internal stakeholders and contributors. The candidate will begin to refine and update the editorial guidelines for each product/client, manage copy flow and edit copy as it arrives.

By the end of the first year, the successful candidate should be working effectively on his or her own, ensuring that all IMN products are successfully updated on schedule, and that sales and the Editorial Director have the sample copy they need to successfully provide potential clients with outstanding, relevant demos.



Collections Specialist

SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

  • The Collections Specialist reports to the Manager, Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable.  The duties of a Collections Specialist include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department. This person provides customer service regarding collection issues, process customer payments, refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments.

RESPONSIBILITIES/Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts.
  • Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
  • Enlist the efforts of sales, account management, and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
  • Communicate and follow up effectively with other departments regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with ASG account managers, auto dealers, resellers and sales.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.

Objectives of the Role:

Assist Accounts Receivable department to determine most effective and economical means of collection for each account and apply standard due diligence practices to collect monies owed.  Work with billing to build customer profiles in order to ensure that purchase orders and contracts match and are in order, bill to addresses and billing contacts are correct, and that billing is submitted in the proper form—electronic or paper—so that client's invoice processing and payment is timely going forward. 


Graphics Designer

SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Working closely with the Editorial Director, the Graphic Design and Production Specialist provides graphic design and production support to both the Client Services and the Marketing departments, and other departments throughout the company as assigned.

The following functions of role occur simultaneously, therefore the employee must be able to appropriately handle each essential function, prioritize, seek assistance when necessary, and provide analysis and reporting to ensure continuous improvement in all areas.
EDUCATION: Requires a bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field (or equivalent experience), along with knowledge of the principles of communication and marketing.

EXPERIENCE: Requires specific experience editing and designing a variety of HTML-based graphics, usually acquired through two to four years experience working as a designer/production assistant in an advertising or design agency or in an in-house communications department.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Requires ability to grasp communications problems, conceptualize visual solutions, and effectively communicate these ideas for approval, both verbally and through rough illustrations and sketches. Ability to take complex information, interpret it and present it to a variety of audiences.
Requires strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requires expert knowledge of software applications Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Powerpoint.
Familiarity with Word and Excel needed. Must be proficient in both PC and Mac (0SX) platforms.


Marketing Programs Specialist

Summary/Purpose:
The Marketing Programs Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of events and tradeshow participation – from design and set up, to giveaways, to follow through and lead management.  Experience with garnering speaking opportunities, putting together creative traffic generation and follow up programs would be helpful, as would graphic design experience.

Responsibilities:

Working with inside as well as outside resources, he/she will be responsible for the planning, implementation and follow through of key marketing programs.    The primary focus is event support across industries including automobile, banking, credit unions, direct selling and insurance.    This includes hands-on creation and implementation of all programs to ensure they meet or exceed company goals. Functional area responsibility will include:

  • Program measurement
  • Email marketing
  • Online marketing

  • Sales support materials development

This person will also be the centralized “go-to” person for all marketing programs, and must have a keen eye for detail.
Competencies, Skills and Experience:

  • The marketing programs specialist must have 3 – 5 years of digital marketing experience in a high technology or marketing services company.

OEM Account Manager

SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Based out of the IMN Headquarters in Waltham, MA, this position will manage and foster on-board OEM accounts at the corporate level and regional level (when required) as well as support new OEM business efforts both tactically and strategically.  Act as liaison between the Sales (OEM Team, Territory Managers, Telesales), Client Account Services, Marketing, Salesforce and Creative teams to ensure OEM program/partnership is executed according to plan and to standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead IMN point person with OEM - establish/maintain relationship with Lead Client

Sales Operations Analyst

SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The Sales Operations Analyst has responsibility for managing the Salesforce.com system and providing critical sales and business analyses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage and monitor Salesforce.com database to ensure the functionality meets growing requirements for a unified platform for a growing global sales team
  • Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alert templates, reports, and dynamic fields to meet sales needs
  • Develop and improve reports, dashboards, and supporting process flows to provide reliable, accurate, and timely visibility into our Salesforce.com data
  • Work closely with our Marketing  team to keep the database clean and targeted towards ideal prospects in our markets

  • Monitor, report and consult best practices and guide clients on their social reputation
  • Research and recommend content ideas for social media publication.
  • Track and record project implementation and status for each individual social media program and the e-newsletter. 
  • Work with all IMN departments to manage resolution of client issues and problems.
  • Gather client feedback with regard to product functionality and share with the Product Development group.
  • Provide new client training and on-line demonstrations of IMN offerings as needed.
  • Provide back-up customer support via phone and email.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills/requirements):
We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, can multi-task and prioritize, and have superb communication and customer services skills – with an unwavering focus on quality.  Other requirements include:

  • College degree or higher
  • Social Media experience preferred
  • Proven experience in client relations and/or account management
  • Ability to set and manage expectations, resource and time management
  • Ability to work well and contribute in a team environment and independently
  • Highly detail-oriented and quality-driven
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects and clients
  • Knowledge of HTML and Internet software applications
  • Automotive experience and enthusiasm a plus
  • Ability to work weekends on occasion
