Maximize your torque
The 2017 GMC Savana has three available engine options. Standard on the van is a Vortec 4.8-liter V8 engine that is paired to a six-speed automatic heavy duty transmission, pumping out 285 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. For additional power, drivers can upgrade to a Vortec 6.0-liter V8 VVT engine, earning 342 horsepower and 373 lb-ft of torque. For maximum torque, the Savana also has an available 2.8-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine.
