The musical duo Lost And
Found hosted their fourth annual Christmas Show in December. The show, seen this year in Atlanta,
Memphis, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Madison and Cincinnati, features four
different performers in an effort to perform a Christmas Show enjoyable for the
whole family.
Lost And Found (www.speedwood.com)
hosts the show and also provides the backdrop by leading the crowd in common
Christmas hymns, but the shows main attraction is the eclectic combination of
the remaining three acts. The Fitz
Family (www.fitzfamily.com), hip-hop artist Agape(www.hiphopoutreach.com), and
famous actor Justin Vetrano of Richard Phamous, and great crowds in all six
cities all combined to create a unique celebration of the birth of Christ.
Dr. Nathan Frambach from
Wartburg Seminary brought his family to the show and had this to say about the
experience, “It was a kick. The place felt a rush
with warmth and joy and the Spirit. God's Story was presented through a variety
of mediums--music, drama, and jugglers--all of which were excellent. Let me
tell you, our family sang "Arise, Shine" every day throughout the
season. It was our Christmas song for 2002. It graced our home. I asked the
captain (son Garrett, age 3) what he liked about the show. "I liked eating
my pop-tart and crawling under the piano and standing up there on the red
carpet with Michael and George and singing and dancing." Where else could
this happen? Only where the lion lies down with the lamb and the little ones
lead us. How often do we get a peek at the Reign of God that has broken into
our lives...and get to be a part of it? We won't miss this next year. No way.”
All four Christmas Show
performers are scheduled for the upcoming Youth Encounter Quake and Congress
season.
