You're Invited to the Eighth Annual Spring Gala

I would like to take this
opportunity to invite you all to attend our Eighth Annual Spring Gala on
Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Holiday Inn Select in Bloomington, MN. A punch
reception and silent auction will begin at 5:30. The silent auction will
include many wonderful items including theater tickets, gift certificates,
museum tickets, and global items from our International Teams!
Dinner will begin at 6:45 with a
short break afterwards before beginning the program portion of our dinner. The
program, which will focus on our new Community Based Team ministry, will
include music from 100 White Flags, a local alumni band (see below); music and
ministry sharing from our pilot Community Based Team, Lifeline (see below); a
drama from our Stillwater Community Based Team; and a sharing on the vision and
future of Youth Encounter’s ministry involving Community Based Teams.

Youth Encounter Seeks Dynamic Fundraiser and Division Head
Youth Encounter seeks a dynamic person to fill the role of
Development Division Executive. This person will also direct the Lutheran Youth
Encounter Foundation. Youth Encounter is a non-profit with a mission of strengthening the Church through the
Christian faith, ministry, and leadership of its youth. This is done in a
variety of ways, including sending out relational music ministry teams both
nationally and internationally, regional youth events, national youth events,
and international and national work crews. Youth Encounter’s annual budget is
approximately $6 million.
