E-Mail Viruses Wreak Havoc Globally
Versions of the Bagle, Netsky and Mydoom viruses are infiltrating inboxes of email users around the world. With virus infected emails disguising themselves as messages from employers, many people have absentmindedly downloaded the attached files. In doing so, they open a back door to their computer that hackers can enter and exit at their leisure. Creatively Climbing the Corporate Ladder
Ever wonder what you can do to get ahead in your current work situation? An article from The Wall Street Journal Online outlines how one woman, sick of being ignored in her workplace, took matters into her own hands and moved up the ranks of her company-- just by creating a company book club! We can all benefit from the tips given on how to take initiative in the workplace without overstepping the boundaries of propriety. Click on the story link below and after reading the article, drop us a line at laurenc@worldwit.org and let us know what you think. Feel free to offer your own tips. New Workshop: Women and the Leader's Voice
Leadership Communications is an area where we, as women, have long underestimated our own potential.  The Leaders Voice Workshop reinforces our inherent communication and leadership strengths through personal coaching and interactive learning opportunities.  This is a ‘not-to-miss’ experience for WorldWIT members trying to ‘connect’ with their employees and co-workers, those that are looking to achieve work/life balance, and even those women searching for the skills to succeed in an otherwise ‘man’s world.’

Join us for Women & The Leader's Voice—a two-day leadership communication workshop on April 13-14 in Chicago. Brought to you by WorldWIT and Tom Peters Company, this unique learning program includes personal coaching, group interaction, and hands-on activities.

Contact Keira Murrell at (513) 683-4702 ext. 282 or visit http://www.tompeters.com/worldwit/to register today!
