Spyware: The New Internet Villain

The past few months virus-infected emails have been circulating at a frenzied pace. Most internet users are aware of the viruses and are vigilant about running their anti-virus software and not opening suspicious files included as attachments. What users may not know is that spyware poses a threat to their internet safety and to the confidentiality of their transactions.

Spyware is generally hidden in your computer's files and can track your internet purchases and other information. Andy Sullivan's Reuters article published on Yahoo!
