Hot Topic
This week the Hot Topic around the United States was the final episode of 'The Apprentice'. In the final episode which aired last Thursday, Bill Rancic of Chicago won the position of President of one of Donald Trump's companies. He will take over a Chicago sky-rise building project that is scheduled for completion sometime in 2007. However, the main watercooler talk was not about Bill's victory but about a previous contestant, the ever-entertaining and equally frustrating Omarosa Manigualt-Stallworth. Many viewers of the show felt that she was underhanded, losing the competition for finalist Kwame Jackson. On the final episode a fellow cast-mate even called her a liar. Despite the animosity some feel towards Omarosa, there are rumors are circulating about a talk show in the works for her, and she has managed to stay in the public spotlight throughout the competition. What did you think of 'The Apprentice' and specifically Omarosa's behavior? Was she a competitor with business savvy who played the game, or do you think she crossed the line? Send your thoughts to laurenc@worldwit.org. Want to apply for next season? Go to http://www.nbc.com/nbc/The_Apprentice/apply_now.shtml.
