Let's Bash Working Moms Part MCMXVII
We were intrigued by this interview of writer Caitlin Flanagan on the Atlantic Monthly's "Atlantic Unbound" website. What do you think about Flanagan's view that the hiring of nannies is an exploitative practice that undermines the goals of feminism? We'd ask this question : why are nanny issues (and daycare issues in general) presumptively women's issues? Why don't we talk about dads' responsibilities vis-a-vis their daycare providers? Take a look for yourself: http://www.theatlantic.com/unbound/interviews/int2004-02-12.htm.
