Our Mariana Vineyard 2009 Monterey County Merlot displays a rich complexity in the nose: aromas of plum, dry herbs, prune, white pepper, lavender and flint. After a few minutes, there is an evolution toward cherry and jam. The flavors in the mouth are smooth, round and pleasant. A lovely combination of raspberry, cherry, grape and truffle appear before this long and beautiful finish. This well structured wine will stand more ageing in the bottle up to 4 years. It can also very well be enjoyed with grilled meat, stews, wild game or many cheeses. Our Mariana Vineyard 2010 Mendocino County Sauvignon Blanc is very true to the varietal, the light robe lets you dive into many layers of flavors like citrus, bergamot (pronounced bur-gah-mot), candy and lime. The cool weather in Mendocino really shows its quality in the mouthfeel. Great round and balance, the mouth does provide a hint of sweetness, spice on a medium body. This wine will be great for this summer or the next. Enjoy it with many cheeses, fishes or chicken dishes but nothing too spicy that will take away the refined aromas of this wine. Our Mariana Vineyard 2009 California Zinfandel is a classic wine with a dark robe and a complex nose: dry herbs, black pepper, toasted and light oak characters. The ripeness of these Old Vines provide a round and creamy mouthfeel. Beautiful flavors of cherries, cassis and oak tannins from barrel ageing complete the structure. This wine will stand easily with more ageing in the bottle, up to three years. Enjoy it with grilled meat, stews, wild game or many cheeses. Our Mariana Vineyard 2011 California Chardonnay is a classic California Chardonnay with aromas of pear and apple with a touch of citrus, followed by subtle vanilla oak undertones. The mouthfeel is rich and complex. The finish is medium and clean with just the right acidity. This is a great white wine perfect for a summer gathering.
