Centralized Brain Repository for Essential Tremor
Much of the information that researchers have learned about the cause of diseases, including movement disorders, has taken place through the study of donated tissue. The Essential Tremor Centralized Brain Repository at Columbia University has recently been established to collect this valuable resource.

Avoidable Causes of DBS Failure
Over the past eight years, thousands of people have had their movement disorders successfully treated with deep brain stimulation. However, some people with movement disorders have not had good results with this treatment. Researchers have recently sought to find out why deep brain stimulation does not work for everyone.
