Here are some movement disorders and their symptoms:
 

  • Parkinson’s disease – Diminished arm swing and small shuffling steps
  • Essential tremor – Uncontrollable shaking or “tremors”
  • Blepharospasm – Excessive eye-blinking or involuntary eye closure
  • Tics or Tourette’s syndrome – Unexpected body movements
  • Spasticity – Stiff or tight muscles
  • Dystonia – Twisting muscle contractions
  • Restless legs syndrome – Uncomfortable leg sensations
