Mind Your Business!
New online newslettter gives you more
by Debbie Hurst

Welcome to the first edition of the WBCS on-line newsletter, "Mind Your Business"! We're very excited about this new, more timely and accessible means of communication with our members. I think you will find it to be current, relevant, and easy to navigate. You will be receiving Mind Your Business via email on a quarterly basis; perhaps more often in the future as we strive to get valuable information to our membership that will help you mind your business in a fast-paced world.

This new communication venue is just one more example of the evolution of the Women's Business Council - Southwest into the premier organization for the development and utilization of women-owned businesses throughout the southwest region. If you have not visited our revamped website in the last few months, I encourage you to check it out. You will receive a great overview of all that's going on within the Council and can register online for programs ranging from the upcoming B2B Survival Training Seminar to our popular Mentoring Program. Also, please be on the lookout for a member survey that will be coming to you soon via email. We need your feedback to ensure responsive programming and a membership that really pays off.

As summer is upon us, I know many of us are thinking about (and working in) a little R&R. I hope you have some time planned with family and friends. While you're at it, take advantage of the business-related rejuvenation available through the educational and networking activities being offered by WBCS this summer.

Have a safe, happy summer and I hope to see you all at the TOP TEN Networking reception on July 17th.

What Do YOU Think?

My opinion of the Council's new online newsletter is

It's great, much better than the old version!

I prefer the old, paper version.

I like this version, but it loads too slowly.

It's great, it should be sent every month!
