I am darling Doris! I hope a dog like me catches your eye. I am not as small or cute as some, but I make up for it with my sweet personality. I was in a situation where a bunch of dogs were kept in a small pen together. If you know the expression "A Dog Eat Dog World" you can imagine how things were for me. I have multiple scars and bites on my face from trying to get my share of the food. Volvo Helps ALSF Find a Cure for Pediatric Cancer
As a founding sponsor, the automaker is committed to aiding Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
The Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) began in 2000 when four-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who had been diagnosed with cancer shortly before her first birthday, set up a front-yard lemonade stand with her brother. She planned to give the money to doctors so they could find a cure for cancer. In just one day, Alex raised $2,000. Soon, people all over the country were setting up lemonade stands to raise money for children with cancer. Sadly, Alex passed away in 2004, but her legacy lives on through ALSF. Thanks to founding sponsors like Volvo, Alex’s mission continues to help countless kids.
