S.W.A.T. MAGAZINE UNVEILS NEW TV SHOW ON THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL

 

S.W.A.T. Magazine TV Will Feature Techniques, Training and Gear Used By Armed Professionals in Law Enforcement, Military or Private Security and the Armed Citizen for Home or Personal Defense

 

 

 

Ocean Ridge, FL September 9, 2009S.W.A.T. Magazine, the source readers trust for the information about the training and gear they need to survive, and prevail, in the real world, today announced the launch of its new television show, S.W.A.T. Magazine TV on the Outdoor Channel premiering in January 2010 every Wednesday at 7:30pm EST. The show will bring the same professionalism, integrity and thorough insight that have been provided from the magazine over the past 25 years. Guests will include S.W.A.T. Staff Writers, Instructors, Industry Representatives and people interested in developing their firearms knowledge and skills. Featured guests include Louis Awerbuck, Tony Blauer, Travis Haley and James Yeager as well as lesser known instructors currently active in the military and law enforcement professions.

 

 

“S.W.A.T. Magazine has been a trusted and respected magazine for over 25 years, providing its readers with valuable information on the latest weapons, tactics and training. It was only natural for the next step of S.W.A.T. Magazine’s development to be TV,” said Rob Pincus, Host of S.W.A.T. Magazine TV. “Our goal with the show is to provide the same quality information that we provide in the magazine, but really delve further into topics that our readers and viewers want to see. We have many great guests that will be appearing as well and will discuss a range of topics from what their roles are in providing safety and security to the importance of using realistic targets.” Pincus has been a staff writer with S.W.A.T. since 2001.


 

 

Special segments will offer an inside look into the special teams and components of the law enforcement, private security and military world. Episodes will give the viewer a look into armed professional training from world-class instructors and show how their training, gear and techniques can apply to the viewer and his own protection. Other segments include a feature with S.W.A.T. Magazine Columnist Brent Wheat, where he will discuss issues that affect everyone interested in personal safety, as well as an Instructor Profile and Team Profile segment. The Instructor Profile segment will go deeper into the personalities, thoughts and opinions of the people who bring the viewer life saving information, while the Team Profile section will highlight the men who serve on K-9, Entry, Boarding, Contractor, Air Support and other special teams.
