2006 REGIONAL RANKINGS POSTED
Lin-Mark Computer Sports has posted the
2006 USAT-MA Regional rankings on its website, at http://www.lin-mark.com/new_rank/index.asp.
Athletes are strongly encouraged to review these rankings and advise Lin-Mark
of any updates to the posted ranking data. Lin-Mark has announced that
the 2006 rankings become final and can not be changed after Dec 22, 2006.

ANNUAL MEETING SET FOR JANUARY 27TH IN COLUMBIA, MARYLAND
The USAT Mid-Atlantic Region annual membership meeting will be held on
January 27, 2007 at the Sheraton Hotel in Columbia, MD. This annual
meeting is a chance for members to meet the Regional Board of Directors, and receive
updates on USAT and the Mid-Atlantic Region. As in past years, the meeting will feature the presentation of
All-Regional Awards. A comprehensive Expo will be held in
conjunction with the meeting. Further details will be announced shortly on the
USAT-MA website, www.usat-ma.org.

SPORTS MEDICINE CONFERENCE COMING TO MID-ATLANTIC REGION
In conjunction with the Columbia Triathlon, the Columbia Triathlon Association will host the first Regional Sports Medicine Conference at the Sheraton Columbia Hotel on Friday, May 18th 2007 from 11:30 am until 6:00 pm. The conference will provide up to date information regarding sports and exercise science, common sport related injuries and illness, and will focus on key issues in medical management of the endurance athlete. Dr. Robert Laird, Chief Physician for the Ironman World Championship, will serve as the conference’s Keynote Speaker.
