AT THE RACES
Planning for 2007
by Bob Mina
I know the 2006 season is just ending, and with the holidays just
around the corner you probably haven’t thought much about your training for
2007. Then again, if you’ve got aspirations to participate in one of the
more popular events somewhere in the Mid-Atlantic or elsewhere, you’ve probably
already had to sign up, right? So why not start thinking about how you
can prepare? Have you considered an early season training camp?
Don’t worry if you haven’t before; I never even gave such a thing a thought until
last year. However, after attending such a camp last spring, I realized
that there was a tremendous amount I really could learn in the course of a
weekend; things I’d never really considered, or bothered to concentrate on
while I was just putting down the miles.
