MID-ATLANTIC REGION ANNUAL WINTER MEETING AND EXPO TO BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 4TH
The 2006 USA Triathlon Mid-Atlantic Region Annual Meeting will be held this Saturday, February 4, 2006 in Columbia, Maryland. The meeting is open to all USAT members from the region.
This year’s event will include a Winter Festival Expo with representatives from regional multisport stores, health professionals, certified coaches and trainers, and race management teams with event information and registrations.
In addition, individuals selected to the 2005 All-Regional Team will be recognized and a variety of keynote speeches and breakout sessions will be offered.
The Annual Meeting will be held at the Sheraton Columbia Hotel, 10207 Wincopin Circle, Columbia, MD 21044.

MID-ATLANTIC ALL-REGIONAL TEAM SELECTED
USA Triathlon Mid-Atlantic’s Board of Directors has announced the 2005 All-Regional USA Triathlon and Duathlon Teams.
Team selection is based on consistent performance and high finishes at USAT-sanctioned events throughout the Mid-Atlantic region during the last competitive season. USAT-Mid Atlantic uses the highly regarded Lin-Mark EZE-In Ranking System to select team members. Awards will be presented to all team members at the upcoming USAT-MA Region Annual Winter Meeting and Expo to be held Feb. 4 at Columbia, Md.

The complete roster of qualifying races for the 2006 “Best of the US Amateur Triathlete Competition” has been announced. The fastest male and female resident amateur at each of the qualifiers earn the right to represent themselves and their states at the “Best of the US Championship” in Excelsior, MN (Lake Minnetonka) on September 16, 2006.
