The USAT National Training Center
(NTC) will be hosting a long distance triathlon training camp over Memorial Day
weekend (May 23rd-May 26th). The NTC is
located in Clermont, Fl., which is 25 minutes west of Orlando and 70 minutes
east of Tampa. Clermont is fast
becoming the epicenter of triathlon activity, and along with numerous sprint to
Olympic distance races, its hosts the USAT Ultra-Distance National Championship
Triathlon at the Great Floridian in October.
Whether you’re a beginner or
seasoned veteran, this camp can help you improve your fitness, offer new ideas
for your training, and improve your racing.
A highly qualified staff of coaches will help you toward achieving your
goals, whether they are to win, or just to finish.
The camp is open to athletes ages 20
and over, and will be limited to a maximum of 25 participants. The cost of the camp is $350 if you register
by May 10
th and $400 thereafter.
This includes evening meals, coaching sessions, lectures, access to the
NTC, use of weight rooms, locker rooms, ice baths, etc.
