NATIONAL TRIATHLON SERIES TO LAUNCH THIS SPRING
The Tri America Triathlon Series is a new national triathlon series being held in six exciting venues this year, with plans to expand to ten venues in 2003. Each stop in the series will include an international distance triathlon, a kid's triathlon, a 5K run, and a two-day interactive Tri America Festival of Fitness and Sports. The 2002 series will kick-off in Dallas-Irving, Texas on April 13-14, concluding with the series finale at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida on September 28-29. Other confirmed stops in the series include Lake Havasu, Arizona, May 18-19, and Louisville, Kentucky on July 27-28. The June 22-23 and August 17-18 stops will be announced shortly.
