The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder Gives Great Comfort and Is Still Tough
This SUV brings the fun to family adventures.

Since its introduction, the Nissan Pathfinder has been the popular choice for an SUV because of its power and capabilities. The new 2010 model offers a mix of first-class amenities with a rugged drivetrain bound to impress.

Redesigned for 2010 to offer even better performance, more room and top-of-the-line technological innovations, the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder continues to prove it’s the perfect companion for your family’s adventures.

The 2010 Pathfinder is offered in three trims – S, SE and LE. The standard powerplant on S and SE trims is a 4.0-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 that develops 266 hp and 288 lb/ft of torque. Optional on S and SE is a 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 that churns out 310 hp and 388 lb/ft of torque. In the S, the transmission is a five-speed automatic; in the SE and LE, it’s an electronically controlled five-speed automatic with manual mode.

The S trim, in both 2WD and 4WD versions, comes standard with 16-inch aluminum wheels, fold-flat second- and third-row seats, roof rails, dual power outside mirrors, a tow hitch receiver, tilt steering column, power door locks, four 12V power outlets, 12 cargo tie-down hooks, steering wheel audio controls and an AM/FM/CD audio system.

The SE boasts 17-inch wheels, running boards, foglights, dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver’s seat, a seven-inch information display, fold-flat front passenger’s seat, leather steering wheel and shiftknob and rear reading lamps.

The LE trims offer additional style and luxury with leather-appointed seats, a heated steering wheel, Bose audio system, woodgrain trim, body side molding with chrome inserts, a driver memory package (mirrors, seats and pedals) with programmable remote keyfobs, 18-inch aluminum wheels, Bluetooth and XM Satellite Radio.

The Pathfinder LE V8 4X4 features a full-time XN All-Mode four-wheel drive system that distributes torque to all four wheels in any road conditions to enhance cornering stability and improve fuel economy. The 4X4 models equipped with the V6 are available with a part-time four-wheel drive system (S-V6 and SE-V6) or an All-Mode four-wheel drive system that features 2WD/AUTO/4H/4LO modes and an electronically controlled transfer case (LE-V6).

The Pathfinder’s exterior is what Nissan calls an “icon exterior design” that’s “fresh and dynamic.” Its large lamplights, sweeping hood and strut-style grille give it a rugged, powerful look. The integrated fender flares and broad shoulder lines further enhance its appearance.

A key cabin feature is the HDD Navigation System available on LE trims that features a 9.3GB Music Box hard drive. Other technology offered includes Nissan Intelligent Key™ with twist start.

The interior is spacious offering three-row seating for up to seven passengers plus plenty of utility and storage space. Seating is comfortable and supportive. Throughout the cabin, you’ll find plenty of storage areas including eight cupholders, an overhead console and front seatback pockets.

The Nissan Pathfinder boasts a long list of standard safety features including the Nissan Advanced Airbag System (dual-stage front supplemental airbags with seatbelt sensors and front occupant classification sensor), front seat-mounted and side-impact airbags and roof-mounted curtain airbags. A tire pressure monitoring system is also standard.

The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder S starts at $27,440 (MSRP). Your adventures start here.
