What's Happening AT CoBPA

Economics Department

The Department of Economics has achieved many accomplishments in the 2010-2011 Academic year.

Some of the Faculty Successes include:
* Peri da Silva received CoBPA established faculty merit award
for research.
* David Flynn received CoBPA established faculty merit award
for teaching.
* Pradosh Simlai received CoBPA junior faculty merit award for
research.

In regards to enrollments, the Masters of Science in Applied Economics have been increasing significantly, with a large percentage of on-line students. Additional growth is happening in the Banking and Financial Economics program and more minors in Economics.
