Management
The Management department has seen a refocusing on ethics and leadership over the past year. Dr. Valentine has published seven research articles pertaining to ethics in the last year. There was also an alumni gift of $300,000 which was used to create the UND alumni leadership fellowship. This fellowship will be used to teach more leadership courses. Dr. Helleloid will be teaching a leadership course for the Arts and Sciences school here at UND. He will also be teaching a leadership course in the summer for the MBA program. There was also the creation of a leadership minor that will be available university wide. The Management department is very involved in teaching at the University of Shanghai. Dr. Andreas Pinterits, Dr. Clare Francis and Dr. Duane Helleloid all taught there last year or will teach there next year.
