In late June, UGS PLM Software hosted its annual Analyst and Media Forum – our first as a division of Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D). We know that many of our customers look to the industry analyst community for advice on solving business challenges just as we work with these analysts to gain additional perspective and understanding of industry drivers and market needs. The Forum provides a great opportunity to look at the future of PLM and engage in valuable dialogue.

We took this opportunity to share our expanding vision for PLM, where the virtual world of product development can be merged with the physical world of manufacturing production. This environment provides break-through opportunities for companies to increase their speed to market as well as their confidence that they are developing the right products that the market demands.
