Here is what you should keep in mind.
1. Open by Thanksgiving or shortly thereafter to allow your store to be “on the map” for the holiday rush.
2. Act NOW! You should allow 6-8 weeks to get your store/kiosk ready. Here are rough timeframes needed to prepare for each aspect of your business. Some of these area’s can be handled simultaneously.
A. Site Preparation/Mall Approval: 2-4 weeks B. Ordering fixtures: 4-8 weeks C. City Permitting: 3-4 weeks D. Sales Training: 1-2 weeks E. Inventory Procurement: 3-4 weeks F. Planning Advertising Campaigns: 4-6 weeks G. Store Organization & Merchandising: 1 week H. Sign Manufacturing and Installation: 4 weeks 3. Make it EASY.
