TRAILER REGISTRATION FEE CHANGES
The Michigan Legislature recently enacted Public Act 152 of 2003 that became effective on October 1.  Among other things, this law changed the cost and frequency of payment required to register trailers used by recreational boaters and snowmobilers.  Van Snider, President of the Michigan Boating Industries Association, sums up how this will affect the residents of Michigan.

MTVTA will continue to offer no-cost, online training courses for employees of Michigan’s tourism and hospitality industries, through April of 2004.  Available titles include: Overcoming Challenging Service Situations in Tourism, Communications to Develop Relationships in Tourism, Advancing Your Service Expertise in Tourism, Dynamics of Leadership in Tourism, and Writing a Marketing Plan for Tourism.  Certificates of accomplishment are available.
