Advertising & Sponsorship Opportunities

Michigan Tourism Business: The Industry’s eNews Source has been published monthly since April 2002.  It offers a unique opportunity to deliver your message to thousands of tourism industry professionals in Michigan each month.  Its companion micro-site with archived issues, including past ads and sponsorships, may be viewed on-line anytime at
www.imakenews.com/tourism.

Michigan Tourism Business is e-mailed monthly to approximately 4,000 registered users and subscribers.  Each issue features links to industry news and reports, training opportunities, conference and trade show listings, special feature articles, an editorial column, legislative updates, and news about a variety of indicators that impact Michigan’s tourism businesses.

The audience is primarily individuals from lodging properties; tourism attractions; museums; chambers of commerce; campgrounds; convention and visitor bureaus; state agencies; universities and colleges; marinas; historic sites and cultural attractions; ski and golf resorts; agricultural tourism businesses; travel agencies; park and recreation departments; hospitality businesses; snowmobile, boat and RV dealers; casinos; and Michigan tourism industry associations.

eNewsletter Advertising

Ads may appear in various locations throughout Michigan Tourism Business but are primarily located on the main page.  The copy limit is 50 words, including headline and contact information, and may include Web site URLS and email addresses.  The publisher reserves the right to accept or decline ads, and placement within the newsletter is first come first serve.  That is, a new ad automatically fills the next available ad space on a page in the order it is submitted.  “Click-through” statistics will also be provided at the end of each 3-month ad run, so you will know how many people visited your linked Web site as a result of your advertising.

Advance Michigan Tourism Business ad placements are available at the following rate:

Base Rate      $99.00/month    3-month minimum

eNewsletter Sponsorship

Tax-deductible sponsorship of a monthly issue of Michigan Tourism Business includes acknowledgment of the sponsor in a prominent place on the main page and at the bottom of each associated “article page,” and a brief statement of the nature of the sponsor’s business including logo, headline and contact information, and may include Web site URLS and email addresses.   Each exclusive monthly sponsor’s name will also be listed as the “sponsor of the month” above the issue contents on each e-mailed HTML page.  The publisher reserves the right to accept or decline and to schedule sponsorships.  “Click-through” statistics will also be provided at the end of the month, so you will know how many people visited your linked Web site as a result of your sponsorship.  Thank you for your support!

Advance Michigan Tourism Business sponsorships are available for the following tax-deductible donation:

Sponsorship     $500.00/month     one-month minimum
