 03-24-03 In January 2003, one U.S. dollar was equivalent to $1.54 Canadian; however, that declined to $1.51 in February; that's the weakest the U.S. dollar has been in Canada since January 2001 when it was equal to $1.50 Canadian.

10-26-02 The value of the U.S. dollar remained relatively flat in September 2002, rising only to $1.58 Canadian. This means that a tourist taking one U.S. dollar into Canada is holding money worth $1.58 Canadian.
