04/17/02 - Reaching an all-time low in January 2002, the exchange rate on the Canadian dollar is not conducive to Canadian travelers spending time or money in the United States.  The value of the Canadian dollar has fluctuated little between November 2001 and April of 2002.  It continues to hover between $1.58 to $1.60 as compared to the American dollar.
