This is one of two new charts that we have added to this second issue of Michigan Tourism Business.  Temperature has a big impact on the activities of tourists in Michigan, since many tourist activities take place in the out of doors.  January and February 2002 were significantly warmer than the long-term normal average.  However, the statewide average high temperature in April was slightly lower than the long-term average.
