Corky Morrow, Toyota Service Manager
by Amber Ketrenos

Corky Morrow was born in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1951. He grew up as an Army Brat, his father was a Full-Bird Colonel, and got a chance to live all over the world. Some places such as Japan, Guam, Hawaii, Germany, Philippines, Etc… Corky got in the automotive business when he was only 15 years old; he worked as a gas attendant in Santa Clara, CA. This was about the time they found out he was dyslexic and sent him to a trade school instead of High School. He then earned a Baseball scholarship to go to Arizona State University. In 1968, after only attending the university a year Corky was drafted. He did 3 tours to Vietnam as a Helicopter Pilot WO2. Coming back to the states Corky went right back to the car business and spent the next 11 plus years as a Certified Toyota Technician. Around 1983 he became a Service Manager and has been working as one ever since.

Corky enjoys Fishing, his family, farm and golfing. He and his wife Catherine have owned a private Lavender farm in Fox Island since 1996. They have an annual Open House, usually the last weekend in July, where they have visitors from all over come to see their farm. Corky loves to go fishing, he tries going at least 3 times a week. He even gets his family involved by bringing his grandkids along with him. Corky has 3 children, Andrea, Jason and Nathan and 5 grandchildren, Ricky, Lizzie, James, Ethan , Grace and just found out, one more on the way!
