Adora Calcium - In the News!
While we
may not have the advertising power of other calcium supplements, Adora Calcium
is gaining praise from some of the biggest names in media.
- In their October issue, a leading consumer magazine highlighted Adora Calcium as a winner among calcium
supplements. In their unbiased review they said, "MMM...Nutrients...Adora had the claimed amount of
calcium. It tasted most like candy." Further proof that Adora Calcium really
does contain 500 mg of calcium while still maintaining its delicious
chocolate taste.
- In
a segment titled, “Comfort Foods: Worth the Calories?” featured on The Today Show, Dr.Madelyn
Fernstrom mentioned Adora Calcium as “Chocolate with some value added”. VIEW
VIDEO.
- Fitness magazine
noted in their September issue that women should "choose
a calcium supplement that's also dark chocolate, like Adora Calcium Dark
Chocolate." They must have read the February “circle of health”
article on Adora Calcium’s high antioxidant content. LINK
- We’ve even had some very
complementary bloggers singing our praises – check out: PalatetoPen.com “ADORA is what happens when a chocolate
company thinks about women’s health and PMS cravings, and develops a
little bite-sized miracle to fulfill our needs AND wants.” LINK,
and from ReallyNatural.com, “Instead of making
chocolate-flavored calcium supplements, Adora makes actual chocolates,
and adds calcium to them.” LINK

ADORA TIP OF THE MONTH!
Take Time for Tea
There are many reasons for taking time out of your day for a soothing cup of tea. In addition to tea time serving as a little “me time,” tea is chock full of antioxidants called polyphenols that have been shown to help improve heart health, reduce cancer risk, and even strengthen bones. Drinking tea every day can actually work alongside your daily dose of Adora Calcium to help improve bone health! But, beware of combining the two at the same time. Tea contains oxalic acid that can bind with some of the calcium preventing it from being absorbed. Sipping your tea with breakfast, and taking your calcium a few hours later, will give your bones the biggest boost. In addition, research has shown that adding milk or cream may block some of tea’s antioxidant activity. Instead, add honey, lemon, or a bit of sweetener to give your tea some extra zing.
