A Note from the Nutritionist
Back to Basics!

I have spent the past several months rewriting and revamping a brand new www.adoraCalcium.com Web site. Watch for its launch coming in August! While sorting through loads of research to insure the site was complete with the latest bone health findings, I was surprised that much of the evidence for building strong bones points to two basic activities;
1. Getting plenty of calcium and vitamin D, and
2. Participating in weight-bearing exercise regularly

That’s it! It seems so simple, and yet nothing is ever that easy. Sometimes we forget to take our calcium supplements, other times we are just too busy to fit in exercise. So, this month we talk about a fun way to easily, and inexpensively incorporate exercise into your daily routine. As for forgetting to take your calcium, how about enlisting the help of your friends and family? See the “Adora Tip of The Month” for more information. – Michelle Gibeault Traub, R.D.

ADORA TIP OF THE MONTH!
Give Them Something to Talk About

Don’t you love finding the latest, greatest thing – a comfortable pair of heels, a long-lasting lipstick, or a decadent dessert that is low in calories? It is even better when you share your discovery with friends. The same can be said of health information, when you let your friends and family know about the importance of calcium for strong bones, they can join you on your quest for better bone health. Adora calcium is a great find to share with others. After all, everyone loves chocolate, and when that chocolate includes the calcium and vitamin D bones need, it is a welcomed addition to any health regimen. Your friends will want to start taking Adora calcium every day, and they will likely remind you to take your daily chocolate too. So, next time you have lunch with a friend, offer up an Adora for dessert. They’ll thank you for it.

Kathy, a “circle of health” reader, is a great example, she wrote us with this tip:
“The best way for me to remember to take my ADORA is through the help of my co-worker. We take our vitamins and Adora right after lunch. We remind each other and strive for a healthier lifestyle.”
