My name is Leah W. and I am 14 years old.

At first I was not going to write my testimony on here because I thought it was not important, and then I realized that they are ALL important. Ever since I was little, I have been brought up in a Christian family, I got saved and baptized when I was nine. So I pretty much grew up in perfect surroundings as far as that goes.

My parents got divorced when I was 11, and ever since then, I have trusted and been closer to God. I have asked him for help more often also. My Nana also got sick about that time and was in the hospital with lung cancer. They told my family that she had it on a Thursday, and on Friday the doctors ran some more tests, and when they got the results back on Monday, whatever it was had decreased in size, so they ran more tests on Monday, and by Tuesday, it was GONE. The doctor went in and told my family that he didn’t understand what happened, but whatever it was, it was a mystery, and that’s when my aunt said, it’s not a mystery, but it does start with an “M.” From that moment, I believed in miracles. I had before, but now more than ever, I knew that God was out there. I knew that he would always be there to help us in everything.

I have just recently started high school and have come in contact with some of the “peer pressures.” I have known before that everyone is different, but just lately have I really seen it. Everyone is not meant to be cool. In fact, if it wasn’t for the nerds or geeks, there would probably be a lot less doctors, a lot less bosses, or at least good ones. Everyone is special in their own different way, and to me that proves that there is a God. I mean who else can make EVERYONE look different, act different, and feel different. Everyone feels like they are the world, and they’re not. I don’t mean they act like it, but they feel like it. Everyone has their own little world with their own problems that nobody knows about, and just simply that amazes me. And also the theory of evolution just makes me mad because they say that all life came out of the ocean, and fish evolved from one-celled organisms, and reptiles evolved from fish, and blah, blah, blah. They think that everything evolved from everything, but I’d like to know what they say about the duckbilled platypus!! It has webbed feet like a frog, a duck bill, beaver’s tail, and it is a marsupial. I don’t understand how people can even begin to believe that.

All I know is that I know for certain who made me and I feel like I owe every second of my life to him just for dying on the cross for our sins. I am glad that I am a Christian and proud of it, and if you are not proud, there is something wrong with the picture. I had no idea what I was writing about when I started this testimony, but as soon as I started writing, I couldn’t stop. It was as though my hands were guided and my brain told what to type. Which I wouldn’t be surprised if they were. Your testimony is as important as everyone else’s, so give it a try. God will always provide help if you seek it.
