This month we feature two of our long term service specialists from Ferrari and Porsche.
Eric Sanders
Certified Ferrari Technician
Eric enjoys showing up to car shows in his Corvette Z06 or his Ferrari 308GT4. He started working on cars with Datsun Z cars at the age of 17 and around 19 he had the opportunity to re-assemble a stripped Ferrari 308GTS. Italian cars became very familiar to him and soon after that he worked on the Ferrari consignment cars at Terry York Rolls Royce which the British technicians did not care for. This allowed Eric to build a following of customers. Eric had a few different independent shop locations and business partnerships that fell apart. He then went to work for Tiamo Motor Cars for three years. Tiamo Motor Cars was owned by an award winning Ferrari restorer giving Eric the chance to learn many skills that are hard to teach and learn on your own. Eric then began work for Phillipo Cusamano, the owner of an Italian car shop, working on Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati’s. After about six months with Cusamano he was offered a position as Ferrari Technician at Ogner Motor Cars in May of 1991. Ogner Motor Cars went on to become The Auto Gallery in 2001. Eric is now a Ferrari Master Technician working with the Ferrari Classiche program and servicing many vintage and classic Ferraris’ and some vintage Lamborghinis’.
Eric also helps show customer cars in some great events. “I get to work on some amazing works of art!” Beside Eric’s love for cars, he enjoys collecting 1:18 and 1:12 Italian Die-Cast model cars. He likes running and collecting HO model trains (not toys, but replicas that are highly detailed and have digital control and sometimes sound) from late steam era to the current era. “So there is usually always something that I am buying or ordering to add to my collection!”
“I really enjoy the work that I do!”

John Szamosi
Porsche Premier Technician Goldmeister
John has been an automotive mechanic for 33 years. He worked for Ogner Motor Cars before it became The Auto Gallery for 12 years and has now been working for the present Auto Gallery for 10 years. He has been a member of The Auto Gallery family for over 22 years now.
John entered the automotive industry at a young age and gained car knowledge through a six week trade school program. He is currently a Certified Gold Master with Porsche. John enjoys the people he works with and likes working on exotic cars! “At the ead of each work day, I look forward to going home to my family.”
John has been married to his beautiful wife Suzzane for 29 years! “A very rare thing in this time!” He has two wonderful daughters; Amanda and Sara.
When John is not working he enjoys watching TV and going to movies. He also considers himself a worker bee. “If I am not at work working, I am at home doing work around the house! I am always doing something!”
