After many many years of early morning Sundays at the “Coffee Roaster” in Calabasas, the shopping center’s management decided a spectacular exotic car show was not how they wished their parking lot to be used from 7am till 10am. Sunday morning life became difficult for Dustin and all the participants until he was forced to shut down entirely until a new venue could be found. Now with the support of The Auto Gallery, Dustin has established a new location on Topanga Canyon Blvd. at the Westfield Promenade Shopping Center on the corner of Topanga Canyon and Erwin Street in Woodland Hills.
Putting this back together took a lot of time and effort. If it were not for the financial support of THE AUTO GALLERY, we would not be here today. We would also like to thank WESTFIELD PROMENADE for the opportunity to lease this prominent corner of their parking lot to assure our fans that we will meeting here for a long time to come. As has always been the case, all cars are welcome including Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Porsche as well as muscle cars, motorcycles, antiques and just plain cool rides. Every Sunday we start at 7am until 10am or soon thereafter.
The last Sunday of the Month carries on the tradition of the biggest, baddest display with each of the coming weekends designated to a particular marque. For February 28th we will feature Ferrari and expect almost 100 of the cars from Maranello with the usual suspects making it a Sunday to remember. March 28th will feature Lamborghini and April 25th is soon to be announced, but promises to be a big surprise. For May 30th we will highlight Hot Rods & Customs and June 27th we will have the largest gathering of Ford GTs and Ford hi-performance vehicles in Southern California. So you can plan ahead to finish your restoration or just get your motor running as we will have pre-1972 Muscle cars on July 27th. Whichever Sunday you choose, you will always find a wide variety of super cars to enjoy, photograph and discuss with your friends and the owners themselves. Come out this weekend to see what all the talk is about.
At our new home, it is imperative that we all respect the lot. I would ask that we all police ourselves and act maturely. Please visit the website at www.supercarsunday.com to see all the official rules. To quote Dustin Troyan, “I am so happy to have the community back together, I cannot tell you. I look forward to sharing all of our vehicles and our passion for the automobile. Good friends and good times to come! Thanks again to Tony, Eric, Mike and Jason at The Auto Gallery.”
