Gibson goes on Good Morning America to try and quell the crisis.  Does he succeed, or just make things worse?

Here in the U.S. bloggers are beginning to face lawsuits for not-so-free speech. In other parts of the world, some bloggers are in jail for giving their opinions.

Television viewership numbers continue to dwindle, so programmers are forced to turn to the ‘Net for ratings numbers and marketing dollars.

Tabloids are increasing readership while many of their more esteemed competitors are struggling to hang on to readers. Credit local news, shorter stories, clever front page banner headlines and a definite point of view.
