Welcome to our latest newsletter, in which you will find many opportunities for students to get tremendous exposure to exciting new technologies and experiences this spring and summer. Also, I'm sure most of you have heard about President Obama's visit to TechBoston Academy this week. Lastly, please mark your calendars and save the date for our two upcoming annual events. The BATEC College Fair will be held on Friday, April 1st at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center. The Robotics Olympics will be held on Saturday, June 4th at Wentworth Institute of technology. Enjoy!

Learn 2 Teach, Teach 2 Learn
Learn 2 Teach, Teach 2 Learn is a community-based program where teens between the ages of 14 and 19 teach others in their community about technology, creativity and problem solving. Applications are due by Friday, March 11th.

Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Summer Program at MIT
The STEM Program at MIT is a free, 5-week summer program that allows Boston, Cambridge, and Lawrence public school students who will enter 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in the fall of 2011 to expand their knowledge about math, science, and how things work. Applications are due by Friday, March 11th.

April Break Robotics Class
Every vacation break, we offer free training for students who want to dive head first into new technology. We are once again offering a robotics class in collaboration with Machine Science for middle and high school students on April 19th and 20th. Seats fill up fast so register ASAP!

Microsoft DigiGirlz Day
Microsoft's DigiGirlz Day is a one-day event designed to provide high school girls with a better understanding of what a career in technology is all about. The event takes place on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Microsoft's New England Research and Development (NERD) Center in Cambridge.

Boston Architectural College High School Summer Program
Since 1973, the Boston Architectural College has offered high-school students a 4-week design exploration program centered on hands-on studio experience exploring the fundamental processes of architecture and design. The application and scholarship deadline is April 29th 2011.
