It’s income-tax time, a season when we all remember why we’re Republicans.  A friend recently e-mailed me a list of fun definitions from the Mensa society, which is a group of high-IQ people.  The group sponsored a contest wherein its members took a word, changed only one letter in it, and came up with a new word and a new definition.

As hundreds line up with their families to be sworn in as US Citizens, the Republican Party has a tremendous opportunity to let them know what being a Republican is about before they register to vote.  The monthly New Citizens’ Ceremony takes place at the Campbell Civic Center at the corner of Campbell Ave. and Winchester Blvd.
