Congratulations Keith and Mary!

     

Our inaugural award for Volunteer of the Month actually honors two indispensable headquarters volunteers, Keith Defilippis and Mary Goodman.  It was impossible to choose between these two dedicated individuals. While this month’s award is recognition of their tireless work on behalf of the Lincoln-Reagan Day Celebration, both Keith and Mary have earned our admiration and respect over time, as they are mainstays of the headquarters operation.

Keith and Mary’s latest achievement is the management of the entire invitation process for the Lincoln-Reagan event.  This included producing the mailing list and labels, stuffing and sealing envelopes and getting them into the mail on time – for over 4000 pieces!  This job required not only great attention to detail and significant time, but also the coordination of many volunteers to make the job run smoothly.

Mary’s regular role at headquarters is handling much of the work involved in the financial and donor correspondence and reporting.   Keith is our guru for IT services, providing critical systems support for managing mailings and voter lists, not only for the Party, but also for a variety of other grassroots GOP organizations.

While neither Keith nor Mary ever seek recognition for the valuable service they perform for the Santa Clara County Republican Party, we could not let their extraordinary accomplishments on behalf of this year’s Lincoln-Reagan event go unnoticed.  So, when you next see Keith or Mary, congratulate them on their award for Volunteer of the Month and thank them for the many hours they devote to building the Republican Party in Santa Clara County.
