Stevinson Presents the 2nd Annual Greenwood Village Summer Fest and Car Show at The Landmark
And we're looking for a few good cars
by Kent Stevinson, Stevinson Automotive President

It’s not too early to start making plans for the 2nd Annual Greenwood Village Summer Fest being held on Saturday, June 9th at The Landmark in Greenwood Village. This year’s Fest premieres with a car show and will host local artisans, dozens of exhibitors, music, as well as some of Colorado’s finest brews and food. Stevinson Automotive is proud to once again be a presenting sponsor of this truly unique festival and I am encouraging Stevinson customers to bring their classic or collector car to display in the car show.

A Piece of History Comes Down
by Newsletter Staff

Stevinson Chevrolet circa 1980
Since 1973, the iconic Stevinson Chevrolet building and sign located at the northeast corner of Colfax and Indiana (previous home of Stevinson Chevrolet) has been a fixture in Jefferson County.  If you haven’t been through that intersection in awhile, you’re in for a surprise. The abandoned dealership has been torn down to make way for an exciting new development.

Perhaps the only thing more exhilarating than getting behind the wheel of a true American muscle car? Getting behind the wheel of a true American muscle car with a drop top, one that’s capable of delivering more than 320 hp while returning nearly 30 mpg highway. It might sound too good to be true, but it isn’t. You can get it all in the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible.

For automakers, the compact car segment is one of the fiercest arenas in which to compete. With continually rising fuel prices, more and more new car buyers are now considering smaller, more fuel-efficient cars, but these buyers don’t want to compromise the feel and amenities of more expensive vehicles. Enter the Cruze.

Choose Your Food Wisely
Strange side effects from every day foods.

You already know that eating ice cream too fast causes brain freeze, but there are plenty of other foods, like grapefruit, carrots and coffee, that can also cause some rather interesting after effects.

The Top 10 Happiest Jobs
Did your occupation make the list?

Photo: The Top 10 Happiest Jobs

Parents have a lot to consider when buying items for their new baby, and more and more moms and dads are choosing eco-friendly products. Batting a Thousand
Actors who were nearly professional athletes.

Making it to the top of any profession takes a lot of drive and hard work; this is why it comes as no surprise that many of Hollywood’s most successful actors almost made it to the top of the sports world, but ended up turning in their uniforms for costumes. While names like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Bradshaw and Andre the Giant are well-known athletes turned actors, here are some with athletic backgrounds that might surprise you.

Photo: Headache-Inducing Foods
From tension headaches to migraines, there are many varieties of head-pounding pain. And although several different triggers may be to blame, like stress and allergies, some experts believe that certain foods can cause headaches in some people. "It is not unusual at all for food to trigger migraines or other types of headaches," says Noah Rosen, MD, Director of the Headache Institute at North Shore-LIJ Health System in Long Island, New York.
