Stevinson Automotive was recently honored by the Denver Business Journal as one of the healthiest employers in Denver.
Kent Stevinson has been challenging all of the Stevinson employees to conduct healthier lives and has provided monetary incentives to support his mission. The Stevinson dealerships have been competing in company-wide weight loss and smoking cessations competitions for over a year with successful employees sharing thousands of dollars in reward money.
Over 60% of the 550 employees have been involved in the competition to lose weight, and one employee, Katie Cassidy from Stevinson Toyota East, lost 39 pounds to be named the grand prize winner. In addition to on-going weight loss initiatives, many of our smoking employees have pledged to quit smoking by the end of the year.
