Publishing Option: Spidering by External Search Engines

Better control whether or not the microsite can be found by Web searches.

This new publishing option helps you to control whether Web spidering search engines will index your newsletter so that it can be found via a Web search. You can choose to have the whole newsletter indexed, none of the newsletter indexed, or to have just the one page found by the web crawler indexed.
This feature uses a standard meta tag that is placed in your newsletter layout. This tag is honored by many search engines, however, not all of them. This means setting this option to "Do not allow spidering" does not guarantee your pages will excluded from all web spiders that can find your newsletter. In this case, the way to exclude your newsletter from spiders is to make sure there is not any other Web site linking to any page within your newsletter.
