Send Later

Feature Name: Send Later (Email Scheduling)

Overview:
Now you can schedule your mailings to have them delivered at the date and time you specify. No need to wake up early to get that newsletter delivered first thing in the morning.

What it does:
Instead of initiating an email job at the time you click the button, the mail job is held until the date and time you specify. The mail job is held in a queue called the Scheduler. While the email is waiting in this queue it will be given a 'Pending' status. When the specified date and time is reached, the server will automatically deliver the newsletter.

NOTE: It is important to note that if you change the contents of the issue which is currently scheduled and then send it by email, the scheduled email job will deliver the newsletter with these changes. In other words, the contents of the scheduled email can be affected even after the mailing was scheduled.

How to find it:
The Send Later button is located right next to the Send Now button on the Email Preview page - the last step before a mailing is delivered. To reach this point, click 'Send As Email' from the Main Menu. Provide all of the email sending information and then click Continue. The Email Preview page will show you what the contents of your mailing will look like. When you are satisfied with the result, click the Send Later button. You will then be prompted to specify the date and time when you would like the mailing to be delivered.

Available to: Platinum level accounts or higher
