Watch for updates and ways you can get involved with our new Aboriginal Youth Media Project in 2009. Our goal is to provide 7 Youth with an 'earn and learn' project to raise awareness about benefits of learning computer, writing, and media literacy skills...we'll need partners, community champions, and success stories to create a DVD and articles that highlights the diversity of talent in the urban Aboriginal community!

8th Annual Talking Stick Festival Coming in February!
This celebration of traditional and contemporary Aboriginal performance and art unites diverse artists!

The Talking Stick Festival kicks off with a Gala opening Feb. 9th at West Vancouver’s new performance space, the Kay Meek Centre. Experience outstanding traditional Indigenous music and dance from across Canada: S’pak’wus Slúlum (the Eagle Song Dancers) from the Squamish Nation, the Inuvialut Drummers (Nunavik), the Dancers of Damelahamid (Gitksan), the Copper Maker Dancers (Kwakwakwa’wakw), and the Whitefish Jrs. Drummers (Cree and then join in on a week long celebration of dance, music, visual and multimedia art, plays and film...
