Tsawwassen First Nation Votes YES July 25th to First Urban Treaty in Modern Times
70% approval for Agreement with 724 hectares of land and access to salmon fishery for food, social, ceremonial and economic purposes

Tsawwassen First Nation - the Land Facing the Sea July 25th, 2007 will go down in history as the day that the Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN) voted in favour of their Final Agreement in the BC treaty process. Almost 70% of Tsawwassen First Nation members voted “yes” to support the Final Agreement and new constitution for their First Nation, an overwhelming majority.
